Older model Roclite 295s in various sizes

Unusually these are either totally Brown (sand really). Or Totally Black.
Not seen that before. military/tactical?

Brown are £31
Black £101

Black I could definitely go for, but that's too much money for less durable footwear. ( I'm on my second pair of the blue/black - comfy but stitching vulnerable)

Can I go for the desert version...hmm

I would guess that's Inov8's own eBay account. They are based in Crook in Co Durham.

Maybe samples or something like that.

It appears I can!

Same seller has various other Inov8 models. Including some other trail shoes at various odd sizes. Ladies too.

Wondering if seller is Inov8 itself.

Edit El Manama confirms it

Freesole on the stitching helps. I find that then the tread wears down before the stitching goes.

This is very tempting, but our UK parcel receivers are away from home over Christmas. I hope they still have stock come the new year.

Do squaddies wear Iniv8 now? Got to be better than Hi-Tec Silver Shadows

Good price for the brown, I don’t think I’ve ever paid more than £60 for Roclites

It'll be like the Montane factory shop, prototype samples in alternative colours and sometimes different fabrics on clothing e.g using Equilibrium instead of Microlight.

Yes, I used seamgrip on my second pair, and it makes a big difference.

Also happy to receive an order for you.

About to pay for my basket....

Thanks so much to both of you for the kind offer - I love this forum :). I've managed to arrange with my sister-in-law to receive them, though.
OnOit already! ;) Couldn't resist?

Pity their samples seem always to be medium. I have a light Pertex equilibrium Montane unhooded wind jacket (climbers shops special) which has perfect breathability and wicking function. Love that fabric. A lite speed in it would be perfect

Thanks @Mole I got a pair of bright blue roclite 290 in 11.5. I've been using the grey ones the past year and like them a lot. £34.50

Thanks @Mole ive been using roclites for about 8 or nine years now i wear to them to death.ive just ordered a pair of the sand for 30 quid.im not fussed with colour its the grip and breathability i am after.ive had worse colours before.
The crease my the big toe always goes first for me.i slap a bit of shoe goo on it then stop it spreading so quick.i can be a bit of a scruff when im in the hills:)
Best grip for wet rock

I find them true to size, but my experience is with the old, black version like this
inov-8-roclite-295.jpg
. I've never tried the later version. I don't know if the version in this thread are the same or the later (now also discontinued) version, but from the uppears, I suspect it's the later version. If so, from my exprience with the Roclite 280 I would go up half a size.
Incidentally, the pictured version were built on the same last and had the same fit (IME) as the much missed Terrocs.
Edit: It appears that Inov8 has brought back the Roclite 295.

Hmm. IdI say true to size.

I'm on my second pair of these Roclite295s:

I described my view of the fit in a comment above.

The earlier version that William pictures, I found less roomy in the toe area. I have long 2nd and third toes and they touched that shoe. I didn't buy them for this reason. Certainly significantly less room than Terrocs.

It's not helpful that Inov8 describe different models as "standard fit" , but to me they aren't all the same size or shape at all. In the past, I've tried 3 different models on in Ellis Brigham, all size 47 all standard fit. All felt quite different to me. Only one fit me comfortably.
