I was just pricing them up on CNOC site this morning, that was looking more like £50 all in
The new sawyer micro I got is notable faster than the last 2 models I recon

Hi Gadget. Does the BeFree filter fit in that mouth? It looks narrow in the pic. I'm worried about the BeFree bladder, feels quite vulnerable and am organising a safe space for it away from potential prickling things, but ...

When it arrives could you say whether it feels tougher than the Katadyn bladder please.

I have a Hydrapak Seeker 2l. Mine does fit the BeFree but the opening on the one that Gadget links to looks smaller to me.
It feels pretty tough but I don't use it much because the dark colour means the water heats up too much and too fast. Last week I swear we could have brewed tea with it.

But could you have heated a dried meal with it? Stove free hikers,

Edit: I checked gadgets link and of course it does say that it fits the filter or he wouldn’t have bought it, duh, just looks a bit small in the pic.

My impression is that the opening covers about 50% of the top of the 2l Hydrapak but I'm away from home and can't check. A Google image search however only seems to show 2l Hydrapaks with the same opening as Gadgets, so it should fit since ours does.

Just being pedantic but re earlier comments. At Hathersage there is "Outside" not Go Outside. There is a Go Outdoors across the road opposite however.

Very dangerous place Outside. I went there early June to grab lunch and a drybag, I left with a drybag true, but also a Rab Neutrino Pro jacket for those chilly July evenings (a mere £145 in the sale) and a hot blonde. Admittedly I took the blonde there with ne ;)

BeFree bladder, feels quite vulnerable.
I've had it for about 18 months, take it strapped to my shoulder strap. Not been babied. Just got two tiny pin holes in the bottom corners, where the material folds. Still works ok, just weeps a bit.

Might be worth a look at the Trespass gear sale - I bought a hooded Romano down jacket with a 700 fill for £34.
It had been on sale for £160.00.
