As Tucas disappeared?

Has anyone had any contact with Marco at As Tucas recently? He's making a quilt for me and my last contact was in the middle of May. Since then I've tried to contact him by email, via the As Tucas website and messages through Trek-lite and Twitter but had no replies. I'm getting a bit concerned as to what has happened.

He shared a photo on his Facebook page on 12/07.

Looks like he deals with Trekking-lite-store.com, maybe ask them?

I saw that, although I'm not on FB. I'm mystified as to why I'm getting no replies despite repeated attempts to contact.

The curse of the small cottage producer.
Life gets in the way?

Business is hard work if it's all down to one person.
Hopefully nothing bad has happened.

I've been tolerant of delays (I ordered in Feb), but it's frustrating that numerous messages through different channels, including the website form have met with silence. What makes it very strange is that others have had replies.

I just made an enquiry, via the form on the website, Marco replied within the hour.
Not a "difficult" customer, are you?? LOL
Sorry for muddying the waters. :frown:

No. Had loads of positive interactions and cut him slack on delays on this order. Don't know what I've done wrong.

Feb :D you have the patience of a saint. Id be putting in a claim pronto. People give cottage gear makers too much latitude in my opinion. When all said and done its business. Id have my money back and go elsewhere.
I have to say i completely agree with Paul on this. We give them a load of slack, more often than not as we're really hoping they make a success of it, but some just dont seem to have any business acumen. Very often theres a wall of silence around bad customer experience.

Yep some of these companies have big turnovers but are treated like a mate from the pub, you know the one, the one who still owes you £50 and never pays up, but you dont say anything for fear of offending.

If As Tucas has the production capacity to announce retail supply you would think they can manage a down quilt for a direct customer.

Maybe get someone else to mail? IT accidents do happen (benefit of the doubt)...I had Paul on 'ignore' for weeks*

*that was deliberate though ;)

I got a friend to message him on Facebook to contact me. I've done it direct through his website three times, via email, via Twitter message, via Trek-lite message. No replies for two months. What else can I do?
