Sorted: 1 person tent

This is slightly speculative as we're mulling over several options in the family, but one possibility is that we supplement what we already have with a 1 person shelter. I was wondering if anybody here is looking to sell something.

I'm not really looking for advice on buying something new. I'm happy to happy to consider something that's well used.

To narrow it down, I'm probably looking for:

- shelter with an inner and fly, but possibly a single skin with sewn-in groundsheet
- around 1kg
- long enough for someone 6'2" in a lofty down bag on a 2-3" Klymit mat
- something that uses tent poles is fine
- probably only going to be used in summer

Thanks Robert. That's interesting, but a bit more than I'm looking to spend I'm afraid. I'm not suggesting the tent is overpriced btw! Let me have a think but If someone else sees this and wants it, please go ahead.

My Hilleberg Akto may be available shortly. It has a small professional repair and a couple of other issues, but no leaks...

Blimey, it's like buses on here.

I think I'm less keen on an Akto, but I've never really tried one.... They seem heavy and a bit overkill for what will be mainly good weather use. And I imagine a decent one will be out of my budget.

 Certainly heavier than the other offerings... :)

I'm always tempted by these kind of Ali tents. I'd really like to try one out but two things put me off. The size of the inner for someone my height and they look very draughty.

Thanks for the thought.
