Guess it depends on the fabric quality.
Golite were using 15D on the Shangri-la s years ago. As do Big Agnes.
MSR and others are using 7D on their lightest stuff.
Good link - thank you for plain-speaking reviews of interesting & cheap kit.I'm 187cm and sleep on a 9cm blow up pad. My feet do lightly touch the inner, especially on my last trip where I combined a 3 season bag with a summer quilt for a -8°C night. It doesn't bother me because the spacing between outer and inner is pretty large so the inner barely gets damp.

I too like the decathlon forclaz 500 trousers, very comfy. They are figure hugging enough to tell ones religion according to my wife though.
