As the title anyone camping high in the Lakes this wknd ?
****. I need to go to London.
Not the lakes but will probly do a walk in the afternoon.
Who's getting married?
Yup, out this weekend
No one that actually matters to me, but they are a good reason to go for a walk.
Its my birthday on Saturday . A far more momentous occasion - IMHO.
I'm going walking Fri/Sat/Sun,
It will be fine here
Yes, by being at work all weekend
Where you going?
Torridon for me; I could not care one way or another about the nuptials
South of the Bolkar for us. Got up at 3.45 for the bus to find that the weather forecast had changed thunderstorms so the planned ridge walk might need modifying.
Maritime Alps tomorrow...
Just the south downs way, couldn't face a 5 hour train journey to the lakes and back + enormo ticket prices.
……we're off 'up north' for the following week .
Getting the all the food and kit sorted for not just me but the other 2 is a fraught undertaking .
Annoyingly ill miss another fine weekend. Im sure the weather will cease the following weekend and return to Atlantic rain and wind the moment i get in the car to leave
All too familiar .
PS. I cannot be bothered to watch the whole shebang but a peek at 'the dress' might be in order - the lady has style and I've made a few wedding dresss in my time. .
ill deffo catch the highlights. Im a big Suits fan and thought she was excellent in that.
My daughter was quite put out we weren't invited
I wish them all the best but not fussed about the whole spectacle, so no is the answer.
Looks nice weather for a walk or to get married.
Neither for me - At the airport again, Texas bound
