It's come to my attention that we're rapidly using up the allocated bandwidth for trek-lite due to the large photo uploads which are currently permitted. In light of this I've made a few changes to the way we upload and attach photo files.

The ability to upload directly to the forum is now a privilege for donating members only, and due to the bandwidth issues I need to choke this down to 800x800 px initially, I will review this going forward though and look to increase this if possible.

It's not all doom and gloom, we now have the ability to rotate photos that have been uploaded to the forum, this will resolve the EXIF file issue with photos taken on IOS and certain other devices. You will now see a Rotate button at the bottom of your post, next to Report, press this to rotate your attachments.

For none donating members wishing to attach photos to threads, you will need to use a 3rd party hosting site such as Photobucket or Flickr, then copy the URL across using the Image button or by pasting the correct link straight into the post. I will create a separate thread with instructions later for those who don't know the procedure for this.

Donating members can of course also use the 3rd party hosting site option, this will give you the ability to share much larger images in your threads.

Information on how to become a donating member can be found in the link in my signature below.
