Two brews for the price of one today!

Brewing up on Hart Fell this morning - I normally skip a morning brew-up in the tent and then stop an hour or so later.

Cheers Tess! She had to make do with half a dog biscuit and a frozen puddle.

On the descent to Moffat, in the sun and out of the wind at last! Criffel in the distance.

Edit - and I spy the faint outline of Skiddaw far left.

An hour and a half drive either direction to get to a decent beach.
Could be worse we could live at the top end of the Ettrick valley ......

For someone from Merseyside - the sea is always "there".
Almost every family will have someone/ancestor who went to sea.
