I read "lifetime warranty" as a marketing department's take on "10 years, maybe a little more, maybe a little less", as it is the product's lifetime rather than mine.

That comforter looks good and I'm sure Cumulus wouldn't ask a fortune to make it with a tapered footbox and a zip.

I have a custom Cumulus Quilt 350 in Pertex GL and hydrophobic 850 (EU) down. Blows the socks off the Rab Quantum Endurance 400 I was using before and I've spent more nights under it in the past three years than a "proper" bed. Perfect fit for me as a svelte 6'er. Total weight - 571g + 13g of shock cord when needed (would probably lighten up with another good wash though). Cost just over £200 if memory serves.
Bought a Aegismax Windhard Tiny a few months ago as a go and throw (away) for an upcoming SE Asia trip. Great bit of kit for the price - £68 at the time, weight - 450g
If I was in the market for a quality bespoke ultralight sleep system, Cumulus would be my first port of call. +1 for customer service too!

How much extra to have the Hydrophobic down instead of the standard down?

I had a quote of €48 recently, guess it might vary depending on how much down is in the product you're buying, maybe

Thanks Matt I had read similar cost but on an old thread.

Prices I was quoted early last year were 15 euros for adding 50 grams of regular down, 15 euros for changing the colour of the fabric and 45 euros for switching a 450 gram fill to hydrophobic.

    So undecided on this one.
If these was made in China they must be filled too, has Tim would fill these with 850 down as he sells nothing with less in. Also the 15d material is less permeable than the 10d fabric so ok for cold sleepers.
    I don’t know

Some how fail to see the deal as not even a like for like copy.
For a £34.39p saving in my size, plus carrying an extra 101 grams for the not needed 15d fabric.
1, Not the same fill of Down
    2, EE don’t even offer 15d fabric.
Just do not see the deal.

    I know, apples and oranges.

Looks like plenty like what he is offering. The discriminating buyer still has other options from EE.

Hold on I am not discriminating. For the reasons I am not purchasing this deal!
Yes I will purchase directly from EE and to those whom had purchased that’s their choice.

How long before an exact copy of these turns up on Aliexpress?
