Anyone know why a Nitecore Tube would start doing a strobe flash on the high beam setting?
Signal/Alarm Flashes With the light turned off, click the on/off button twice in quick succession. The T360M will enter 1Hz low frequency flash mode. Click the on/off button to switch between low frequency flash (1Hz)-medium frequency flash (2Hz)-High frequency flash (10Hz). To exit, press the on/off button for more than one second to turn the light off

theres no strobe mode so i would guess the battery is starting to fail. These tiny lithium batts dont last as long as larger cells. I think you got your not long after i launched them which would be a good while back. ill dig something out to throw in with your pole bag

Think you're right, just checked and its my Fake Tube thats doing this, not the original ( low and high modes rotate on pressing 'on' unlike the original which is single click 'on' low and double click 'on' high mode)

Worth mentioning make sure the webpage states 'Nitecore', its usually embossed on the plastic casing, especially if finding Tube too good bargains on foreign sites.

I've the same? The blue light is excellent for reading... But needs a powerbank attached as it eats the battery in blue mode.... Possibly as quick as in high mode on the regular light...

Blue light affects your ability to fall asleep so don’t use it for bed time reading.

Phils snoring usually is the culprit for me... But since he's switched to a exped synmat... He's nearly silent...

I use the blue light well before bed and it works great with maps on night nav

Hi. I asked about the Nitecore NU25 back in Feb, but then failed to make a purchase due to C-19 (and cancelled plans for the PW). I'm now back on the case and hoping for more time to use it next year. Has anything else come along in the meantime that I should be considering instead? Ideally with USB-C/faster charging? TIA!

A quick note on a surprisingly good cheap head torch:

picked up one of these on ali express £6.28 inc vat - delivered in 10 days. Seems v good value to me.

Weight approx 50 grams including the strap. Lasts around 5 hours in high mode (tested) and claims 15 hours in low mode (not tested). recharges with micro usb - and helpful green indicator when charged.

Quite a tight beam, so I made a diy diffuser from 1cm square of plastic folder and masking tape to use in tent/when wider beam wanted.

I’d bought an identical one (different strap) on amazon for 3 times the price in the autumn and used it for a 2 night trip. Was then rather annoyed when I lost it on walk over new year. so a bonus that the replacement was cheaper!
