What sites are people using for long range weather forecasts ?

Central highlands and fort William specifically if it makes any odds....early to mid December

Netweather and XC usually, although I don't take much notice until around a week in advance

For long range; Meto text forecast is the most reliable as the Meto are the best in the business. You can more often than not count on it largely verifying for 6-10 days.

I do Meto first, then look at the nwp models (GFS, ECM, UKMO etc) available for free on most decent weather websites then check Netweather model discussion thread( https://forum.netweather.tv/topic/84434-model-output-discussion-cold-snap-incoming-16th-nov-onwards/page-27)

Be very wary of any source that gives details after 10 days, they are full of :poop:
