Midge proof mosquito net

I've been contemplating using a hanging mosquito net under a tarp as a lightweight summer shelter - something like the Sea to Summit nano. I'd obviously need to faff around tucking the open base under my sleeping pad, but my biggest concern is that I want it to be midge proof, not just mosquito proof. I've a feeling I read somewhere that midge-proof netting needs to be at least 600 holes / sq inch, and the Sea Summit one falls just short of this. Any one any experience of this style of hanging net who could advise on one which is truly midge proof?

The s2s nano definitely isn't midge proof as I found out the hard way. :( So far I don't know of any netting that is short of a full inner or bivvy that is, sorry not to be able to help.

Usually No See Um mesh is 1000-1200 holes / sqin & fairly cheap.
If you know someone with a sewing machine its quite simple to knock something up.

Edit: if you want something lighter weight Extrem have 25g/m2 stuff.

Thanks, those links are really helpful, as is the confirmation that I shouldn't buy the Sea to Summit version. Looks like I've a MYOG project coming on.
