just in case anyone's interested
Some really good photos in that lot. I wish I wthat good a photographer.
Really enjoying looking back through your blog Daron. Great pics and routes.
Can't believe we were unknowingly camped so close to each other recently
Thanks .. has happened to me on a number of occasions
glad you like the photos , only downside ... for me , is carrying the camera gear , worth it though
Good blog, smashing photos, thanks
Great stuff, it's images like those that make me think I should start carrying a decent camera and tripod
There are some really great small cameras around. I gave up on carrying an SLR years ago and switched to a Panasonic Lumix TZ. It has all the features anyone could posdibly want and fits in a jacket pocket or a small belt pouch.
Already on my list...
I bought a G7X last year for our trip to Norway, that takes some lovely pics but I usually just carry my Lumix FS35. When I was wondering around in hill clag last weekend, I was trying to think of a way of using my poles and an extra telescopic carbon rod to make a usable tripod.
Your g7x seems to have some great features...tilting screen for example and the fs35 looks as if it's an earlier version of what became the tz series. Both seem to be a handy size.
Have you seen this?
Thanks Shewie , its great having the camera gear with me when the conditions are good for photography , not so good when its lashing down & and in clag all day , luckily my hiking/ backpacking gear is light weight
nice 1 , glad others are finding it interesting , only so many times I can show my wife pics of yet another mountain view
Tidy. Always nice to see a well placed trail star
So what camera are you using? Seem's to have a good dynamic range. Bit of a nightmare balancing lightweight backpacking and photography.Having said that this guy carries a drone with him!
the trailstar looks good where ever you plonk it .. very photogenic
the camera is a Fuji xt1
seen quite a few of his videos , amongst the best on youtube , wouldn't like to carry his pack though !
Great blog, super pics, nice tent and lovely dog.
Thanks Taz... glad you like it
