I've asked at work if we can use our company cars for this, I hope they see sense and say yes. I'm still on site two days and dialled in for the rest of the week but hope to be able to help out where I can.

Still working as I am in social care but we aren't busy with no schools in session and everything closed (scary to not have those safety nets for kids). It would be good if the county could let a couple of us go volunteer where need while still paying us...would benefit everyone.

Signed up a couple of days ago to volunteer. I already have an enhanced DBS so would expect delays for the ID check to be minimal. Had an email yesterday to say not starting the scheme until after 31 March. Fingers crossed that they can get it up and running asap.
