Paramo Velez Smock hood replacement?

Does anyone know of a decent hood replacement for a Paramo Velez Smock that has lost its hood?

I'm asking because I'd like to try a Velez Smock as a winter (i.e. snow) jacket and I've been watching eBay UK for XL jackets that can be shipped across the Channel. And a lot of the more reasonably priced ones are original smocks (not Adventure) missing their hoods so I've given them a miss. But if anyone has lost his hood and found a suitable replacement, I'd love to hear about it.

I suspect it might be difficult to find a suitable hood that would be cheap enough to offset the price difference between a Velez without hood and Velez Adventure; hopefully you are lucky and can find a spare hood.
Options that might be worth looking at:
- Paramo make a waterproof cap of the same materials, might integrate OK. About £40
- Cioch use Paramo materials and may be able to do custom work, but likely expensive
- Contact Paramo, just possible they have some? They have a recycling programme, possibly a source??

As I suspected, it's far from straightforward. It's probably best to keep steering clear of them.

I don't know, I haven't got a smock yet. I guess they use the same number of snaps. There's no hurry though? I guess I'll just wait for a complete one or a fixed-hood version to pop up. Some occasionally do from Poland (which solves the VAT and import fees issues) but not the size I'm looking for yet.
