PASSING OLD GEAR ONWARDS (for Mountain Rescue)

I had intended a grand launch with the offer of a hand made authentic artisan polycro pillow, but haven't had time yet, so here is a temporarily item free launch of the Just Giving page, to sell things for Mountain Rescue. Get at it and let's raise a couple of hundred before Christmas.

Just to remind people. The idea is to advertise things for sale and the buyer
makes a donation on the Just Giving page for the agreed value of the goods, instead of paying you.

The donation should appear on Just Giving page, or the buyer can send a screen shot of the receipt to the seller.

Postage costs can either be covered by the buyer, or seller – the expectation regarding this can be stated, or negotiated prior to the deal being sealed.

We would hope that, people will be generous in how much they offer to pay for items, particularly since this is a fundraising effort!

Sellers could, therefore ask for best offers, particularly with regards to higher value items.

Should be have a separate prefix for POGO sales to differentiate them?
Or even a separate sale board if shewie is happy with it?

I think it’s best to just keep the sales within this thread and see how it develops over time. If it doesn’t get much uptake then it’s not too much wasted effort.

Rather than starting a new sales thread for each item this will give the non donating members a chance to list items also

    Any interest in this ...

The North Face Windwall 1 fleece jacket
Mens size Large (although I'd say it was a large medium)
    Black

Had it quite a few years but can't remember the last time I wore it.

    Same as this ... https://www.nevisport.com/the-north-face-mens-windwall-1-jacket

The blurb makes it out to be quite a beast but it's only 100 weight fleece, it does keep the chill out though.

I'm not sure how Clare wants to play it, we can see the donations on the Just Giving page so maybe we just use that for now

I've found a no brand new wide brimmed sun hat in a fetching mid grey colour, I bought it on the web ages ago but decided it didn't suit me so never wore it.

I'll try and get some pics later when I've finished my painting chores

£5 donation to Mountain Rescue and I'll cover the postage

The ultimate protein rich, lightweight Christmas present for the walker you love.

Here we have 8 protein balls wrapped in a unique vintage christmas paper, all contained within a 26g caddy. Yes, 26g. The interior dimensions of the caddy (because lets face it, people are more interested in tupperware than protein balls round here) are 13.5 cm wide and 8.5 cm high. I have to say, the lid is quite thin and probably won't stand up to rough treatment during on/off.

I'm looking for best bids over £8.00 for Mountain Rescue and I pay the postage.

The protein balls contain Hemp Protein Powder, Almonds, Macca, Cacao, and honey.

Prototype XL strap pocket in X-Pac vx07 hexcam. Slight second in that I snagged the main body in the seam on the bottom corner. I've chucked a patch on it but I'd reccomend you go over the edges with some seam grip as it will lift without. Siamese slik cliks each endeas well as elastic strap. D IMG_20181208_063349.jpg rings so you can add a strap if needed for multi use. Ykk water resistant zip. Front mesh snack / compass pocket. 6" X 4" X 1.5" thick. 36g.

£10 to pogo and I'll cover postage
