My name is Chiseller.... I love Seek Outside shelters...
Here I'll add posts of travels with the SeekOutside. Current model I'm using is the Silvertip...

I've just tried the A-frame setup, side 2 side.
Seems pretty sweet... I need to upgrade the pole extenders, and may try lashing them at the top with some bungee that will also work as a hanger...
Seemed pretty secure and made it truly palatial inside.

Lahemaa National Park Estonia 2013. Too much work in the snow though unless using as part of a group. Silvertip looks more manageable.

Thanks, I'll have to watch that, getting rid of the centre pole on the BT-2 would be great :)

Where is the ventilation on those shelters?

Thanks for that @Chiseller deffo gonna try it, @edh the zips are double opening so you can create a vent at the top on both sides and adjust the skirt, if it's the SO you're on about ? :)

i have the same top zip venting on my niak. my view is its not a vent- its a hole. a very wet one when it rains.

So there is a cover over the zip at the top? Like the Hex/SL3 then.

Very nice, fair old hike up there, went to Oban once iirc that took about 8 hours :o o:

EDIT: Google reckons it's 5 and a half hours, now I'm not sure, it was Oban though, that much I'm sure of :D
