Thru Hiker
Wifey got bit by a horse fly today walking up our local hill, Drew blood twice and left two bruised looking bumps.
That's a first ...
This plant is great for Cleg bites.
It's hard not to find it growing in the lowlands (especially on paths) often found up mountains too and super hard to confuse it with other plants too.
A quick crush between the fingers and on it goes to the bite. I got some of it in a cleg bite within a few seconds once, the bite stopped bleeding instantly and healed within a day or so. 3 cleg bites to my head this week, the one that got 'Plantained' is the only one that hasn't left a lump.
