Ive begun the transition away from DCF. All pack pockets now come in a choice of Challenge ultra 200 or EPLX. DCF 2.9 has been dropped with immediate effect. Prices remain the same mostly. Weights are lower than dcf on all the ultra versions

Could you give us a bit of insight as to the reason for change? Any benefits or drawbacks to the new materials over the DCF? Genuinely curious.

Performance is better, more environmentally friendly, availability and wholesale prices are slightly better. small manufacturers made cuben fibers reputation and then the company put it beyond reach in terms of minimum order quantity once big corporate wanted it for big box products. Leaves a bitter taste. Plus its nice to have a change.

Some software doesn't like jpeg as a file format name. Try taking the "e" out manually and it becomes a "jpg" and will usually get recognised and open as an image file
They actually are jpg I just wrote jpeg as a catchall. Normally i upload direct from my gallery and its always worked just fine but not today

Been using the new Ultra 100 packing cell this weekend and can recommend it. It holds its shape nicely which makes it easy to use, and I really like the finish of the fabric; it feels very premium. Looks like there are still a few left if anyone is interested.

I’m not looking for a dry bag level of waterproofness but wondering if the aqua guard zip on these is sufficient to keep electronics dry in, for example, a damp pack? From your limited use, any thoughts?

I've used similar packing cells without waterproof zips and they have been fine, but I always use a pack liner. In fact I am using this new packing cell to contain my electronic items amongst others, and expect it to be fine with a little dampness, as is almost inevitable. If I recall correctly the seams are not sealed

I've got one of your older bottle pockets but it's a bit short for the bottles I normally use. Are your new bottle pockets a bit taller?

I've tried a 600ml smart bottle in the one I have to compare it to the pictures on your website, but I can't tell.
