    Thank you!

I have a single fizan compact but not the pair if that’s any use to you? Perhaps someone else will emerge with another single.

Are Fizan compact any good. I've heard that they can telescope in when you apply downward pressure.

I recnetly bought some Mountain King Trail Blaze Trekking Poles 135g each. They are the type that fold and connect together like a tent pole. They are held together by a dynema cord, knot and notch. Simple but very effective. I really like them for running and fast hiking. Not as robust as my Black Diamond Trails but much lighter. They are non-adjustable of course.

They are good; I've done serious talus hopping with them. A lot.

That might be good... Lets see if anyone else offers one up or if I can find a single pole elsewhere. At one point I even considered to swap to only one pole; but am not convinced. How much would you want for it? Thank you

I loved mine... Used them for three years reliably(two pairs as I loose them) and they been of GREAT service to me!

£15 inc postage ? Not sure what’s reasonable. Seem to be 53 for a pair and this single is used.

We also have a single Fizan Compact, but we won't be back in the UK until September or October. We would be happy to sell it then, or perhaps buy Clare's if it's still available.

I think it is a fair price. @WilliamC kindly offered to sell another single pole in the autumn. I am just going to wait a day or two if a pole set (two) won't come up and if not would like to buy it from you. They are in good fully working condition I would assume?

Thank you! If I buy Claire's single pole and do not find a second pole by autumn I woukd like to take you up on that offer :) I assume they are in good fully working condition?

Actually, I haven't looked at it for a couple of years. We've got workmen in at the moment but I'll give it a look over when they've finished.

Hopefully you did not store if compacted....as it might stay compacted....

I stored them compacted and one wouldn’t open which is why I only have one now. This is the one that still works.

    Now you tell me :arghh:
    Fortunately they didn't stick :smug:
    Here's a photo.

There's some scratching to the paintwork and a little wear to the handle and strap but nothing structural. The broken one can be used for spares.

I had one some years back that seized up on me after being stored compact, to fix it I done what any good man does.
Gave to a women to sort for me, which she did quite easily I might add.
(Am sure it was all my light knocking it off a hard surface that loosened it though :whistling:)
Edit: I have a slightly bent lower section & a top section thats caved in a bit if you want them, they still work but the middle section wont close all the way, so less compact stored. They are from the 3 piece ones 20190716_123016.jpg
    Of course no charge

Cotswold Outdoor own brand Explorer UL poles are made by Fizan and are sold singly. They appear to be the same as the Fizan compact.

@Autumn Flower, are you still looking for some Fizans? We go back to Antakya tomorrow and I'll have to take the pole with me if you're still interested. No need to give a definite yes, but if you're sorted and can give a definite no, I'll leave the pole behind.
