Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS200 (DC-TZ200 in the UK). Not a bad price compared to the Sony RX100 Mark 5.
Wow, the Mark 5 is expensive; TBH I'm thinking of going back to Ricoh (maybe a GRII) as I love the handling of my GX200.
the 2 and 3 are better price
Indeed. And the Mark 1, which I have, is even cheaper. None of them come close to a 15x zoom, though...
I was just packing my cookset and realised that i fact it's impossible to remove the screw.
Rab Electron jacket
Doesn't look much kop online but tried one on in Cotswolds today, instant heatwave
A bit of a chunky lump but it compressed well, not sure how many times I'd grab it for a trip though
Better get a cheaper one then.
Think I might be coming over all bushcrafty... Keep looking at Luxe f6-8e and ti tent stoves... Even looked at mega horn
Take a course of DCF pills and see your Doctor if symptoms persist.
cheaper option, I think the SL3's can be modded to hot tents...
Wish I'd never sold my Ricoh GX200. Great little camera. Took my Ricoh PX on the Langdales weekend where it's waterproofness was a bonus. Nothing like the IQ of the old GX200 though.
About once a year. Just borrow my MH puffy down jacket (unless I'm on the same trip of course).
I wish my left knee problem could be solved, but the NHS says NO,
you are quite fit for your age.
Sorry to hear about your knee, Ralph☹️
Thanks Henry, wish I could have had the option of paying into the system or not over 50yrs ago. Still feel cheated when my knee gives way on the hills.
ULOG tell me they are stocking the uberlite next month, timely for my birthday
Might try a large for a change.
Tell me more.....

Just watched Bigfoot on the trails 1st impression.... Tasty.
It was a bad move on my part opening YouTube... An hour of sunshine lost... Arrrrgh
Yeah, best review i’ve Seen. Though it seems a little more delicate.
Never knew it lacked the Mylar inside, so less crinkle
Spendy, might get some at the end of the year though
Perhaps something for @Fair Weather Camper and @tom to add to their wish lists?
But it doesn't elaborate as to how the electicity is generated.
Something to do with the paying out cable rotating a drum, as the kite ascends?
(you also have to pay out to read more of the article)
Sounds a bit like the power generation device some geologist chap was telling me about, somehow effected by dropping large stones down holes,.
But I guess the kite cables might be a hazard to aircraft??
So the planes had better stay on the ground, and thus preserve more energy.
