Better off putting them flat against your thighs or on your upper arms...
I've put them flat against my thighs at night and woke up with them toasty.
Sealskinz get extra toasty....

....I've tried this...does not work for me.....at all

....probably need ReadyBrek

I'll usually trap laundry with shock cord, and toggle.
Or a plastic bag clip.

But nappy pins are also a good idea..

I might even still have some, somewhere from original usage..

But there's perfectly adequate (and free) net bags to be had from greengrocers, or bulb merchants.

Which can also come in handy for spin drying and airing smalls, or salad leaves, on the go-

- yes, both together - if you must. :o o:

the scuba nets come in a large variety of shapes and sizes and i thought might add secure storage to front of rucsac------socks came to mind----but thinking more carefully --however i tried-----i can t ever remember sucessfully drying a pair of wet socks-----the best i have achieved was less wet----nappy pins seem a good idea

:) Top tip -

Finding it tricky to dry your socks on the trail??

Go walking somewhere sunnier.

Nappy pins are a good idea, yes - so long as the socks aren't supposed to be waterproof.

- I've only just killed off a pair of dexshells this trip after three years usage ..

Quite impressive given the wear and tear and general grime they have to put up with.

Don't use them........but a few pin holes around the cuff aren't going to make a lot of difference.

You're right Mr Whiteburn :)
I guess I should have been altogether more specific, for the commonsensically challenged.

I even managed to cloth-nappy two bairns, without sticking nappy pins into them either.
