I have a friend who regularly partakes in one of those activities and adorns his hat with flowers before doing so.No. But then neither have I tried Morris dancing. Or incest.

BTW just got back from a couple of very wet nights in Snowdonia. Ground was properly sodden, but pleased to report that the new Asta Xinxue inner didn't let in any moisture through the floor.
Okay... that’s the flimsy, mesh one that I’ve got isn’t it?
If so, brilliant! I wouldn’t have thought the groundsheet was up to much TBH.
Yes, same one. It let in no damp from below, although it went a darker patch of colour where I'd been resting on it. Any ingress at all would be unacceptable in my book, so I'll keep a close eye on it. I wouldn't say the quality is as high as the 3F UL inners I've just sold (can't put my finger on why, it's just a feeling), and I'd be happier if the bathtub edges were an inch or two higher, a T-zip would be better, but it's light, keeps out water and insects, and it fits! Durability has yet to be established of course, but at 30 quid I don't mind if it only lasts a couple of years - by which time I reckon Luxe will have seen sense and come up with a lighter inner of their own.
Just a word of warning to Hex Peak’ers, I had some lineloc slippage with the supplied cordage this weekend, some pretty mental buffeting winds in N Wales which I think worked them loose.
After the second one slipped I went round all the tie outs and put a half hitch in, unfortunately this caused the line to snap clean in half right at the knot with the next heavy gust.
Today I’ll be removing all the stock cordage and replacing it with 3mm English braids stuff.

Thanks for the heads up shewie.
Think mine has already been swapped out when I bought it but was thinking of renewing mine anyway...
Was going to get some cordadge from valley and peak.... would that stuff be strong enough do you think?
Yep
It was wild
My favourite place in the whole wide world. Not been for a while. Next year. Might have been more sheltered if you’d camped on the other side of the stream

I've not been hiking in Wales for 40 years, perhaps it is time to pay a visit.
I was thinking that maybe you should keep it secret. It'll soon be buried by all of the noise here though. It is a very special place. Perhaps I shouldn’t have told everyone!
