I just spotted this, maybe it's one that people already know about it. I'm tempted so if anyone knows anything about these, I'm all ears.
I posted it on the Cheapskate backpacking thread but maybe some people haven't seen that.
It's a 1 person mid in grey or red but what has me interested are the dimensions. It's a 500g fly and 409g mesh inner, around £85 plus postage all in. The fly is 270cm long, longer than a lot of the Chinese tents. Strangely there are no dimensions quoted for the inner but I imagine it's going to be around 230-240cm going from the photos.
There is some contradictory information on the ad, at some points it is described as 20D and at others 15D. And when you click the "inner tent" button a photo of the red fly comes up.
Any thoughts?

) but I suspect China Post wouldn't broker it through customs in Turkey and I'd have to do it all in person. If anyone is ordering one for themselves, I'd be interested in adding one to their order. I could pay upfront and could cover any RM commission fees plus of course onward postage in the UK.
