Seems Dutch has raised the bar again with hammock material.....
Dutch wouldn't release a substandard material for use. As the man said in the second video... Its for careful swingers who respect the limitations of SUL.That's pretty light hey. I wonder how long the material lasts before ripping or stretching. Looks like the hammock is made from the bug net!

When I specced it out, the Cloud 71 fabric came to 154g for an 11 footer. FWIW, I made a 150g 3 x 1.5m last year from parachute nylon.
It reminds me of the nights I've got drunk, flipped the hammock in the night and slept in the bug netting.
But parachute nylon ends up being quite stretchy? My partner has a 2 person parachute hammock and after years of use it seems to be really stretched out in the middle.
Not as stretchy as Nylon bug netting.
Lots of parachute Nylon hammocks aren't 6.6. Nylon and stretch and deform a lot more.
My 180g 3.6 x 1.8m has had well over 300 nights in it and hasn't deformed. Whilst Nylon will always be stretchy, I don't find it much less supportive in use than any of my other hammocks.
Thats really interesting, I wonder why makers don't use that sort of material more. I made a big hammock from ripstop nylon but I'm quite sure it wasn't 180 grams nor 1.8m wide!
