Greetings. Curiosity means you'll eventually have to go see where everyone else is heading. It seems sensible enough to be interesting and some familiar names suggest it really is.

Based a spit from SWCP in North Cornwall, Dartmoor wanderer since early 70's, like to see others enjoy it, dream of returns to NZ, always keen to go solo until a meet-up a couple of years ago had me aware there are still agreeable life-forms on the planet. Interested in whatever seems interesting, then like to find how/why they work and what they can do. I'm curious.

Ullo Toot, how's tricks?

Not so bad for an old poor fella thanks Skip. Good to see you and cheers for the welcome, and to others for the same. Must admit yours was the final famous name to persuade me to make my presence known - so it's all your fault! Comforting to know our hair colour is no bar... Been lurking for a while and enjoying quality and diversity of the posts here, plus taking interest in habits of an often new population. Looks like a friendly place with several brain-cells. Neat. Haven't worked out how to drive it yet but admin seem to be awake and to know what they're doing so hopes are high.

Welcome Toot, must be great to be so near the SWCP!

Well, it's a nice view and navigation is easy - sea to the left or sea to the right to start off, reverse which side it's on to return home! Could have picked a more age-tolerant part to live though, with Millook, Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Tintagel to the South, or Duckpool, Morwenstow, Marsland Mouth, Hartland to the North - tests the old knees y'know...

If you know anybody at Rock you'll be either a) connected to, or friendly with, younger Royalty, or b) a friend of very wealthy people, or c) unlikely to be Cornish!

The sandy beach we knew of old was gone last time I was in Crackington Haven (September 2015). :(
