Down booties....opinions?

Another option, they also have some down slippers and down troos which I hadn’t seen until recently
The troos are definitely new; I checked out the Cumulus site a couple of weeks ago before ordering the Pajak down knickerbockers and they weren't on the site then.

They look very impressive! I used the Aegismax ones last week on a quick overnight and had to take them off as my feet were too warm. It was +1 so thats a good sign for such a small cost and first use :)

I am having to move stuff around at home though as storing all these down products is taking allot of space :/

I've basically the same booties but unbranded and do find them a bit warm sometimes. But then my feet are odd in that they're more closely related to a heater than a foot and get hot very quickly when I'm in my sleeping bag.

@Dave Vaughan was reading they booties are fleece lined...that the case? Also is there shock cord around ankle cuff or elastic to seal them off?
The Black Ice booties have some fleece (more like microfibre) and elasticated cuffs unlike the Aegismax ones (which incidentally can still be found all over Aliexpress).

Mine are lined with a softer material but I would not call it fleece and they dont have a drawcord. A drawcord would be an easy enough mod but they fit ok for me and stay on.

I ordered the Aegismax L about a month ago, they were too small for me, I am a 10-11 UK and they were a little tight with socks on. I gave those to my mum and ordered the XL when I noticed them on Ali. They arrived today, 9 days after delivery and first impressions very good. Good size, quality feel and loft up nicely.

Boots Large inc stuff sack were 73g inc stuck sack, Extra Large come in at 83g inc stuff sack

The hood is massive but once cinched in is actually a nice fit with mouth/nose opening.

Boots on left, hood on right
