Ultralighter
Hi
i have just joined the site. and with recommendation from chiseller after buying an UL tarp from him and thanks for all the help and advice mate. top bloke!
abit about me...........
male aged 44 (feel 34 lol) from lancashire
love the lake district
love the outdoors, camping, hiking, climbing, slacklining, wild camping etc
my wild camping doesnt usually involve a long hike in but lately i am feeling the need to combine both the walking and wildcamping so looking to upgrade my old heavy gear for something lighter to travel further.
i recently bought a hex peak v4 and only used it twice so far and love it.
although i dont use poles i have recently purchased a pair of leki HT56.5's to use.
i upgraded my sleeping bag to a mountain hardware phantom spark down -2 rating as an all year round bag. if its really cold i may take the rab ascent 700 but its big, heavy and bulky.
i use a toaks 650ml pot with folding toaks spork and a 25gram tiny cheap stove
hope to discuss and chat soon
