Thanks for that, looks like I'll have to wait for the next time they're on offer.

I got mine from the states last week, came with 2 x 2L bladders and the kit to screw it onto a reservoir/turn it into a shower for under £30 delivered https://www.amazon.com/HydroBlu-Lig...ords=hydroblu&qid=1564477334&s=gateway&sr=8-1

I like it. Same form as the Sawyer mini, but with better silicone end caps, a window to see the gubbins inside and 2 screw threads. The bladders are nice too, much prefer them to the Cnoc ones.

The filter doesn't seem to flow any quicker than any of my past Sawyers though when I ran the 10 L of flush water through (which isn't a problem, Sawyer are plenty quick enough IMO)

Ours came from Amazon US too. It arrived more quickly than expected do came while we were still on holiday so I haven't seen it yet. Nice to hear about the bladders as we had a 2L Evernew fail on us on the last trip.

I've no idea if they will last. They look about as robust as the Evernew, but dont have the slide clip and as such are quite a bit lighter. Hanging loops on both ends too, which is a nice touch. They can't be any worse than the Sawyers, the neck seems to be glued on with PVA. :)

I don't trust any of these types, TBH; they have all split or failed out in the hills. It won't be long before I get another faithful Ortlieb ( left the last one by a river :arghh:) ; cutting the straps off and replacing them with Grosgrain and the valve with a bottle cap or the Sawyer made it a really dependable and quite lightweight 4L carrier that did no end of summit camp duties and got very well used.

Sports Pursuits have some deals on Sierra Designs bags, quilts, tents and other bits. Plus new Hoka lines
Great spot Dave. 680g quilt £70 and 3 season 860g quilt £85 are the highlights for me. Not sure about the tent colours though.

Yup, excellent spot, very much appreciated, i never clocked the email from them.

Daughter picked up a womens Nitro 20 degree, been looking at sleeping bags for a couple of weeks for her WHW in April, she kept sending me links to £12, 3 feathers and a dodgy zip things rated for the spare room after a night on the brewdog. That should do just dandy.

I had one in my cart and had to force myself to delete it and leave the page.

Then repeat to myself 20 times "I do not need another rucsac".
