Hello, I'm Monika and I live in Trøndelag, Norway. I love hiking in the forest and up towards the mountains. I rarely get to the mountains themselves as I only go for daytrips, but my trips become longer and longer each year, so maybe I'll evolve to camping when the summer comes. While googling I came upon a conversation about inflatable snowshoes I wanted to join in on, so I signed up.

Hi everyone joined after reading the TT Phreeranger thread. Attracted to your family-friendly philosophy after tiring of another forum that was pretty much the opposite of all your site rules . I mainly bike tour but my quest for lighter, quality gear more often coincides with the trekking or UL communities. Looking forward to chatting.

Hey everyone,
I’m Jordan, I live in Yorkshire. I’ve been hiking and camping for years but rarely wild camp (probably because I’ve been carrying too much gear). I’ve taken an interest in getting lighter gear to get out wild camping more often and complete some multi day hikes. So just been lurking through the forum for gear recommendations and thought I’d join in :)

Hi everyone, stumbled across this forum and had to join, love the outdoors and get away walking with my mates a couple of times a year, camping out usually north or south Wales, however really like the idea of doing more lightweight wild camping and backpacking and have been slowly gathering the gear together. Thanks for the wealth of information and advice in the forum hope to contribute in the future cheers, Barron from the Midlands UK
