UOG rates the new lumbar section as a big improvement over the previous model. I personally always found the lumbar pad comfortable on the old one
At £140 I recon this pack provides the best bang for buck out there, at £95 for the 2019 model it is just amazing value. I've never had an issue with the lumbar pad or the shoulder straps with up to 13kgs. With my current base weight I can't see me ever carrying over 10kgs and at these weights I don't think it will be an issue. They rate it max load limit 20kgs and at that weight I reckon any pack would make you miserable after 15 miles.

Looks like they have sold out at £95.

12kg would be the most I would want to carry. I find the straps start to dig in around that weight. 10kg and below is best for me.

Rab microlight alpine hooded jacket down at £136 in ‘Go’.

Variety of colours and sizes.

Not a bad price for 143g of 750fp hydrophobic goose down. Tempted to get a replacement/spare for the cupboard. Been pleased with my older version during summer nights.

Sportpursuit has the Rab Microlight Summit (pre baffled seamless build Pertex Quantum Infinity Weave rather than stitched baffles) in orange ("Dark Horizon) size S, Xl and XXL for £115.

Nice price that. However, whilst the summit uses an ‘Infinity Weave outer fabric’ (no stitching holding the baffles together), it is a little longer and slimmer than the standard Microlight Alpine, meaning my slightly ‘fuller’ figure would have a little more trouble in it! :)

What's the sizing like Phil?
Just about as expected. I'm XL 44" chest and XL fits fine. Arms are a good length and I like the simple cuffs. It isn't hydrophobic down though.

There are two that seem to have exactly the same spec. One is headlined the Trek 100 and the other the Trek 500. But here they have the same product code. Available in various colours including orange :)

Nice. They can’t be topped for warmth:weight. But Even at 60kh and 5’10”ish (ie narrow), I do find it a bit narrow, I think due to aggressive taper and the shape of the baffles - other sleeping pads have baffles that kind of keep you on, by orientation, shape, or having higher outside baffles - compared to other 20” wide pads it feels narrower. The ankle length is fine, and a good way to save weight (but I don’t usually have a pillow on the pad, putting it on top of my pack at the head to maximize shoulder room at the widest part). I have used a regular neoair and the problem was the same, so it’s not particular to the smaller dimensions of the “womens” version

I'd jump at one if I could justify it. Not the comfiest by general agreement, but durability v's weight v's warmth can't be beat as far as I can see.
I only have a short.
....and 2 X xtherm and an uberlite and...

I find it commodious but then I'm only 5' 7" and a side sleeper

At 5ft 6 and a side sleeper I find it narrow compared to my lovely ancient Prolite 4 – maybe there's a knack to it I haven't quite got yet – but definitely warm and great for packability and weight.

It took some getting used to for me, not so much the width, the length. Now i set it so my empty rucksack is at the bottom and my feet hang off the end onto it. Not sure whether the weight saving over my Neo Regular (old square) is worth it.
