Same! We are actually "pretty close" if you live in Östersund :). Im living in Örnsköldsvik!
Oh nice. I'm not actually in Östersund anymore but my partners parents are from Härjedalen and we have a house in Östersund and Sveg still. I'm currently based in Linköping but likely will move up to Umeå after summer. Was just recently watching Modo beat Linköping in the hockey...

Nice! Umeå is a nice city, I lived there for three years when I was studying, didn't do much hiking back then though :(.

Also you have Backpackinglight headquarters over there :).

Yeah true. Although I'm not a huge fan of his website. he practically never has anything in stock even though his store is always what pops up first on search results...

I'll honest - I haven't bought anything from there yet because most of my gear I buy via Marketplace/Blocket/Facebook and I find other sites to have better layout thn they do so I rarely visit it for information neither.

possible but why, just buy a standard pyraomm

Hmm I guess I prefer then shape and also in a post above it was hinted to be bigger/longer than a Pyraoom regarding the sleeping area. Are you suggesting that mids like the Pyraoom are better suited with 2 doors?

I camped in a spot during a couple of days last summer and it was nice to be able to open the door that wasn't exposed to the wind and I thought at that point that 2 doors is nice to have :). That was a Luxe Minipeak Xl btw.

Yeah it's almost always overpriced on his website so I've also never bought anything from there either. Always bargains to be had on blocket!

come to think of it my cimarron and silvertip have two doors, comes in handy whilst sharing but unnecessary weight if on your own. always nice to have options though i guess.

I like 2 doors and am happy to suffer the weight penalty even when solo. Great for max ventilation and changing conditions like when the wind clocks many degrees after pitching in inclement weather. Just use the “new downwind” door. :p

I agree with everything and I will also use my (if I buy one) shelter with more 1 occasionally and then it's nice to have dual entrances.

I also have a dream of adding a stove jack and my experience tells me it's nice to be able to load firewood from one door and keep the other as a entrance for the individual who stays in the shelter :).
