Mulling over a few ideas for up coming adventures. Came across this company, anyone any experience of their packrafts, the Rebel 2K in particular. Their a German Company I believe. A bit cheaper than Alpacka's.

I'd love to add something but I haven't had chance to use it yet 🤦‍♂️, I bought a 2nd hand package deal, raft buoy boy vest and supia paddle.

Anfibio are great gear - I posted a rebel 2k review somewhere here...
I still have my rebel 2K, but for trips primarily on the water, I'd recommend the MSR Nomad S1 D (also purchased from Anfibio). More fun on the water than the rebel...

Thanks for that Tom, I'd forgotten about that thread. Plenty to think about, I've also found a firm in Aviemore that will hire out packrafts. I may be trying one out soon.

I've been um-ing and ar-ing over this for a few weeks now so decided to scratch the itch and splashed out on a Rebel 2K. Hopefully it'll be here in about a week. I'm not at all sure what the situation is regarding VAT and import duty, I'll let you know when it arrives.

My raft and a new paddle arrived mid week, but I was out at work. I came home to find three cards waiting for me but mist that they were for two different parcels. I was actually expecting the raft to be delivered by DHL but it came with Parcel Force. I had to pay extra to get the paddle delivered today (Saturday). So now I'll have to pay again to get the raft next weekend.

No mention of VAT or import duty.
