Mmm I’d assumed he’d mistakenly used the next weight up in apex.
I’ve known him sell off some quilts with a discount for minor flaws or returns. This seems like a prime candidate for being returned.
You’ve obviously chosen 133 apex for a reason when buying, just the same as I did when planning my own build but I had control over that. So no, I wouldn’t be happy either and a partial refund would seem pointless if it’s to fill a certain gap in sleep gear or scenario and at that weight you already have a sleeping bag for example.

I don’t suppose there’s an obvious chunk of something in the quilt? I’ve heard of surgeons mistakenly leaving stuff.

How can I figure out which apex thickness is implemented? Unfortunately there is absolutely no kind of emblem or label on the quilt. Other manufacturers add some label specifying the filling, shell, size, etc. Not even the manufacturers name is shown on it - is that common for AsTucas products?

Yes exactly... For the shoulder seasons (where 167 apex or higher would make sense), I have a real sleeping bag that goes down to -7° C. For winter use there is one dedicated winter bag also.
I have ordered this quilt with 133 apex exclusively for summer months with a light sleep system well around 10° C.

It seems like that, yeah. I don't at all want to cause some damage for Marco, as he seems to be a very kind guy. However, I cannot use this quilt as intended to do. Let me see how to proceed when he responds.

Did anybody here stay in contact with Marco during the last few weeks? I have sent back the wrong quilt and Marco confirmed the arrival and the great packaging on 08/12/2023.

On 25/12/2023 he said that the new (replacement) quilt will be shipped "by the end of the week".

Since then I didn't get any lifesign from him anymore. All my requests stayed unanswered.

Current situation is: No money, no quilt.
