None welcome:(... May be here a while....
Good opportunity to provisionally test the Liteway quilt and choonies as it should drop below zero.
Bedware shorts and norrona alpha 120 with @Mole s rayway bomber.... Nowt else.... Apart from a pillow robbed from spare room

So that's why you got Sue to cut the lawn

I'm on-call this week but might have a blast at this myself one night, didn't someone mention a collective virtual backyard meet?

Mine too but I’ve got a stack of CCF mats which should do the trick.

Pegging could be awkward but I’ve got bricks, or failing that a drill :whistling:

Yes, you will need all of that to go under your XMid.

I remember when I got my first ever backpacking tent at 17. I put it up in my bedroom and slept in it next to my bed on a wooden floor with no mat...:woot:

I once put a tent up in my spare room - in eagerness to see it up when postie brought it. The spikey side velcro worked on the carpet to pin the guy lines out.

Made use of some empty floor space to seal my Hex a few years back :)

I have a Karrimor xlite 2 man hybrid geo (3 poles) that I got for summer festival work bout 6yrs back. Gave up the music festival work that year before the season & started doing the local arts fest so it's only ever been pitched in the front room on the day it arrived, what a waste.
Tried to give it to the nephews, but they just looked at me funny. :(
As for my back yard, to much noise from the Italian couple next door, I say couple but to be honest I've seldom heard his voice.
edit: Think it's this one, but as siad, only seen it the once

A cracking idea, if I have to be self isolated I could do it in my hammock in the garden, swmbo won't be impressed lol

Space for quite a few tents in my back yard, even at 2 meters distance, and a view of some hills.
Unfortunately I'm staying away from folks just now.
    Sorry :(.
