Sorry to be thick.

But what does any of that actually mean?

Maybe not to everyones tastes but on amazon.de you can currently get the trekology UL80 for 34 euro down from 40 with promotion. I have a trekology pillow with straps that I think is pretty good quality to be honest and the ul80 I've heard some good things from friends

Can you not order from Amazon Germany to UK? I can order for free from them to Sweden over a certain amount. Seen they've recently in the last 2months updated the mat to 750g because of durability issues.

Too bad they don't have a discount on the mini version. Would be an interesting combo with a foam mat and some foot support

That's a strange one... When I clicked on the link in work yesterday I was directed to Sub sports for some reason... That's where the poor reviews came from. My bad as like you say mud n blood look fine. I'll order a med. Thanks.

I bought a windproof but it was too small.
Emailed twice about an exchange but no reply. Looking at the reviews, lack of response is a common occurrence.
No phone number either

My local B&Q had GoSystem 1100 screw thread gas cartridges (cold weather butane-isobutane-propane) for a bargain £1 each in the plumbing section. Not a brand I've used before but at that price, I cleaned them out of them for day walks with the Windburner.

the outdry jackets are a decent buy when on offer (i picked one up for £64 a couple of years ago!)

but their hoods are very poor & you will certainly need a baseball cap or similar to go with it.

its no coincidence that the columbia site never seems to feature a clear photo of the entire hood….

I have this one.

I was just pointing out that the one @Lempo pointed too was not the lightweight version in case someone pulled the trigger without knowing. I did a fair bit of research before I bought mine, £100 direct from Columbia in a sale. I like it, like the big pockets and have managed to adjust the hood so that it is OK with a baseball cap. Overall very happy with it.
