G'day all after recently seeing someone mention in jest probably, if you see a Rab Zero G can you tell me.....
I thought I might start a thread on things that people are after (if this already exists sing out. I didn't see anything). My idea is if I need it and the price is good I might stock pile it. It seems when I want something I can never find it or it's discontinued or the price is through the the roof.
Followed a link from WilliamC earlier to a French site that will post here-never heard of it until then.
To start the ball rolling -Inov8 Trail Talon 290. Looking under about 60 squids.
Last two pairs I got from Webtogs. The only Inov8s that fit my wide feet (tried nearly all of them-these are slightly wider than the standard INOV8s) and I have to size one full size up as it is. These just work for me on hard earth. Don't last forever but..

I'm thinking specific items- how might someone always specifically know what would interest me or yourself? Might be useful?
A person may be looking for a trip in six months etc and I suppose they might just throw a request out there at the time but happy to just leave this query for those runners at that if need be.

Rab Demand - any colour, any size (S and over), in near new condition (mine is still good but won't last forever). :whistling:

Inov8 Roclite 400 size 6 or 6.5 or womens equivalent. Those are the leather ones current in 2010/2011.

This might be a silly, redundant question, but do you know that Inov8 has the fit scale, and those are fit 4/5 which is pretty wide, and if you look up fit 4 & 5, then you could find more suitable alternatives. My X-talons are 2 and my Roclites were 4, and they were slipping under my feet, so I discarded them.

Sorry, if you already knew this, but I find that Inov8 is great in the sense that it actually offers range of fits which helps selecting shoes for different uses much easier.

When I lived in NZ, I'd keep my eye out for Sportsshoes.com sales, and order from there. Shipping was £15 but it was worth it, as local prices were higher and no one would stock UK13 sizes.

I have some I believe. Message me.

I have a Rab Momentum (Demand precursor without the outside hood adjusters); in L....which is athletic cut it being the size-swapping Montane...

Oh...maybe this thread works then

Starting a new Wanted post is probably better for specific items, after a couple of pages things will probably get lost in a generic thread.

Let's leave it to run though and see what happens

@cathyjc - I have a mint condition demand in Maya blue size L, but although it stills looks brand new it sadly doesn't keep the rain out anymore, I wouldn't be happy selling it on

My current one is Maya blue size L :angelic:. Sleeves are long enough for me to hide my hands up them .
Few patched holes and the cuffs wet out quite quickly but otherwise useable.

How much does it weigh ?
I put the post up as much as a "this is never going to yield anything" moment, as for real. But I'd better at least investigate the possibilities now :cautious:.

Anyone seen a good price on an insulated r value of 3+ pad? Partner is always borrowing mine leaving me with my old ccf because she inevitably gets colder than I do  she’s less concerned about weight than I am.

    .
One of the links in a recent bargains alert post led to a page with a reduced Klymit insulated pad.
Here plus 20 per cent off

    Uninsulated version. Sorry

Unfortunately out of stock on the reg length! And import duties might make negate what is otherwise a v good price?
