Hello from North Norfolk

Hello all, I stumbled across this site quite randomly whilst looking and going down many potholes and confusing myself on all the different gear options there seem to be, (and opinions)

I'm from North Norfolk and am slowing going to be getting back into walking, camping, backpacking both here and abroad hopefully, and will be undoubtedly asking loads of silly questions!

I look forward to interacting with everyone on here, I have a few questions on particular things, so I will ask away in the relevant subsections.

Welcome :)

Speaking of Norfolk, I was toying with the idea of the Peddars Way and Coast Path years ago, but several unflattering online accounts of the trail did not sell the route to me at all, to put it mildly.

Many thanks Geoff and Diddi, re Peddars way I think like most "paths" there are somw areas better than others it certainly takes in some lovely places on route.

My friend and I were talking earlier today about hiking on the Norfolk coast path as it's somewhere neither of us have ever been. We'd quite like to do a three or four day trek in September, but there's the age old dilemma of how to get back to the start where the car will be parked. Do you know any decent feasible circular walks taking in the coastal path and inland, or if there are any other realistic options?

I'm away a fair bit in September in Turkey but if it coincides with me being here I can even play taxi for you if your up and around Hunstanton way.
