I dunno maybe I'm confused  ... I dont use poles for mine I use one of these

Yup, that’s where I was going with this. I don’t use poles, I think them a bit odd. I carry a set of Exped Quads when leading groups so that I have something to offer others. I always carried the Golite pole for the SL3.

So I was just pondering a set of carbon poles for a dual purpose.

I shall stop pondering now.

Ta very much, Dids,

I was once told told to carry poles for my Hex as the 300g pole is too heavy  yet poles are heavier and a stupidly priced :laugh:...
If I ever get as old as Ed I may need them one day tho :whistling::angelic:

Blame him even if it's not carp!

Seems fair. Everything is society’s fault, I hold no responsibility for my actions, be they positive or negative. I feel a need to have a little sit down in the full lotus position and body-scan so that I can visualise the full benefit that some new silnylon will bring to my existence.

Ooooommmmmmmm :wacky:

So... once I’ve fired my Raku pottery in the camp fire...

What’s all this inner business - it’s a bit of a pfaff sorting it out innit? Wet knees anorl <grumbles>

Any hints tips and observations would be gratefully received (other than, take something to kneel on)

Never did Raju, sounds fun. I started getting into porcelain. Lovely to throw but soo elastic.
Looks up ultralight kick wheels...
Doesn't find any.

Ultralighter
Get the dog to do it;)

Yes something to kneel on or just kneel on the inner n throw your cord under then walk round then hook them on the pegs from the outside

Raku was developed for the Japanese Tea Ceremony. It was a quick method of firing which is why the glaze has its distinctive cracks.

Spinning wheel... I bet there’s an ultralight spinning wheel. Loads of wool hanging about on the barbed wire fences.

There must be titanium knitting needles?

If the night turns chilly >WHOooosh< before you know it, you could knock up a Fairisle sweater and a pair of mittens.
