Hiking trousers?

Darn it, couldn't decide, so bought a pair of standard Terras for milder days and the ME Ibex for when it's colder (with merino leggings if need be). If I need something warmer then I guess there's the Super Terras etc. Thanks everyone!

I've had montane terras but found them too thin and not wind resistant (would rather wear shorts), haglofs rugged mountain trousers which really are rugged, have nice features like the ankle cuffs which work very well with big boots (lace hook and a tape sinch thingy), big air holes with the vent zips, but they can feel restrictive as the material is not stretch. But for actual walking, scrambling, and climbing I only ever use my mountain equipment ibex trousers, they are really really great. can't recommend them enough, wind resistance and the comfort of the stretch fabric, and the fact they are plain black so you dont look like a survival fantasist (sorry), best outdoor trouser I've tried. You won't regret it!
