    I never tried Wildcats but the Akasha were supposed to be wide too... Not enough for me though :frown: shame as I would've really liked them otherwise.

    I got a pair of Akashas since the Wildcats fit me well. According to La Sportiva, the Wildcats are Tempo last and medium/wide and the Akashas are Tempo last and wide. Well, the Akashas are much tighter on the feet for me. Comparing them side by side they look to be the same width but walking in them for the first time this weekend the Akashas really hurt my big toes on the descents. I think the difference is that they have less volume in the forefoot. I suspect that if I'd gone for a 44 instead of 43, they would probably have been fine. It's a pity as I really like the sole unit.

    Yeah, I could feel they were going to hurt my feet after 30mins on the sofa with them on. The inner sock type thing made indents on my feet where the seams are. I'll stick with inov8 roclites for the time being I think.

    and it wasnt only the width but they felt wierd once tied up as some midfoot support went missing...anyways I was screening the web and couldnt find any Wildcats....must be they were discontinued......

    @craige Inov8 290 works for ya?

    Yeah, least issues of any shoe I've tried actually. Not one blister or hotspot, no pain, nothing :biggrin: they aren't quite as wide/voluminous as 280s but I always got one blister on each heel in them so the 290s must fit better.

    My only real complaint is that the insoles absorb a ridiculous amount of water, but otherwise they are spot on for me.

    Wildcats are available from Amazon in the US with prepaid customs for delivery to Turkey, so probably the UK too. The last time I looked, they didn't have any that were especially cheap after adding the customs and postage, but I've bought La Sportiva from there at decent prices before.

    Maybe you're unlucky with your size? Or maybe customs charges are higher in Slovenia? :( I can get a pair of size 43 delivered to the UK for £97.76 all in, which compares well for the prices La Sportiva usually go for in the UK (except the Helios model, for some reason).
