Before my time this, jack boldly declared let there be house & house music was born (but I remember dancing to this in 92 in the Gas Light in London, turned round & there was Phil Mitchell bopping his wee baldy head off :D)

Edit: the original without any vocal

Isn't he just, I reckon if he keeps up the music he'll be one to watch, great technique resting the neck on his foot I think.

A bit too loose Pendo-how about something a little bit more refined about the sanctity of the smoko.
I'm on smoko so leave me alone......takes me about two days to stop singing this. Get hooked.

Are you calling them yanks? I suppose they more or less are now, but their roots are from dublin. This crowd were from down under, you might like them a bit better.

Although I don't really drink anymore I used to hate it meself when gits started drawing crap in the head of me pint.

Ha ha! Liked the Smoko, didn't so much like the Rumjacks. Perhaps in 2020 it's just easier to be the Undertones than the Pogues?
Sorry for the negativity – all music postings are good, regardless of whether any one person likes or dislikes them – and no comment on the others yet cos i'm still catching up.

Found this posted elseweb. Not only is it funny cos, well, sign language song, but the line "happiness is the truth" is a good one to repeat nowadays.

"So if an old friend I know / shove it up your nose"
!!! Hadn't expected blatant drug references from TV Vegas!

Regardless of that, Vegas-era Elvis is just wrong and dirty – but irresistible! (Small doses please!)

Edit: Belatedly realised that's what L-C is referring to with 'scooby dooby doo'. D'oh!

Bit of a melancholic mood today
    Oneiro pou fevgei ein'h zoh

    Dream that leaves is life
Inside my dream you are too

They do do melancholic songs good these Greeks they do
I suppose Tom doesn't do a bad job either in his own way.

Nice mate ta. Was just listening to this. Feeling a tad of melancholia too. Prefer this to Liz Frazer-just.

I met Fergal once in a pub in north London. He was somehow a friend/acquaintance of a bloke I knew there. We went for a Chinese meal, I remember. But mostly, it took me half an hour of talking to him to realise who he was. Comparing him with Elvis a few posts earlier, they're opposite ends of a celebrity spectrum.
