Finally I got round to doing a little show and tell...
It's a great accessory and compliments Ultralight and light packs that don't have a hip belt/strap.
    74g and of generous volume.

That looks really useful, super versatile, and would cover 90% of the cases when I go for a run and prevaricate between taking a belt or vest pack.

    What's the downsides?

Morning Jim, I'd say only downside is putting it on or taking it off! It's very stretchy yet firmish. When it's off... It's like a fairly small band... I usually put mine on over my head, but step out of it. I've truly nothing negative to say apart from my poles being z-fold.. If worn at the back, I can sometimes feel the stiffness of them. That's more due to the bulk width folded and me putting weight on.
A niggle can be when I've a 500ml water bottle in the front... It's best to put it in last as I can get a squirt from the nozzle as I tie my laces
