Just had my Naturehike Aeros pillow arrive so I thought I'd write up a quick comparison with my very comfortable S2S Aeros Ultralight (large) pillow.

Sea to Summit Aeros UL (Large):
Dimensions: 46cm x 35cm x 12cm
Weight in stuff sack: 86g
Price: £27.35 (July 2015)

Naturehike Aeros:
Dimensions: 45cm x 32cm x 10cm
Weight in stuff sack: 85g
Price: £5.83(Sept 2016)

The S2S has is a little larger and has a slightly softer feeling fabric which is nicer (imo) feeling against your skin but for shear value for money the Naturehike can not be beaten.

White valve is the Naturehike, grey the S2S.

Thanks for posting Andrea. I put my 80% inflated Naturehike in my buff then finish Inflating. Really pleased with it, didn't appreciate how much the pillow was affecting my sleep.

I bought a couple of those Naturehike pillows a month or so ago. Took em on the recent holiday. We both rated them over the little Mammut pillows we used before. Buff pillowcases too.

I use the exped pillow pump as i need it for my mat.. BUT i like the look of them and it would give me the "opportunity" to get a schnozzel bag too... i have really struggled to get a comfortable pillow so far.. could this be the one??

You're not going to be quite as upset if you kill the Naturehike due to its price. TheS2S is really comfy, and I think it'll still be slightly better then the NH. Good thing they're both small and light so I can take both and try to compare them.

Managed to try mine out last night. Was impressed with the quality and weight. Only gripe is, its really difficult to open the release air portion of the valve and can see the material pulling away and losing its air tightness with use. comfy pillow, but a bit bigger than i'm used to.
Cant knock it for a fiver though!

My naturehike has survived two, two week trips before suffering a puncture... No doubt fixable.

I've found it comfy enough, but realise that I don't enjoy the whole 'bouncy effect' that you get with an inflatable pillow.

Not sure if head size; mines large [ open goal ] exacerbates this effect?
It also sneaks off the mat, rather too easily...

It's probably great if you're a 'tidy' sleeper, which I am definitely not.

So half inflated, topped with neatly folded down jacket for solid padding , inside dry bag, inside buff.??

Cripes! even the thought of all that fiddling about has left me feeling tired....

Highly unlikely I'd ever do it.
Maybe in my wriggly dreams.

Revisiting this thread.

My Nature hike sprung a leak too. Not much more use than FWCs. Put it underwater, and it's riddled with small holes. Too many to consider a repair. Cut it open to look inside, nothing visible, so I guess it's fabric coating failure.

I suppose you get what you pay for.

But, given I wasn't 100% comfortable with it when it did hold air, and my track record with keeping any inflatable mattress I've owned intact; I'm loathe to splash out c£30 on a top name pillow.

Think I'll carry on with the buff over drybag pillow for now. Or maybe make a 3D pillow shaped stuff bag ...

Only been used on about 4 trips so far but not had any puncture issues. I think they're still worth price for the size/weight compared to competition.

I don't mind comfort of inflatable pillows but for luxury feeling if I wanted to upgrade I would probably go back to a Goosefeet down pillow sack (but larger than my previous) and use a larger inflatable inside or down jacket. Another alternative would be the Zpacks pillow sack which is a cuban bag with soft fibre coating on one side.

I don't think it was punctures - there were many holes on it's top side.
But fabric coating failure.
