I've given in as well...
My new Scarp 1 (2019 model ) arrives Tues at my door. Henry includes 8 inch Easton Golds with
this . I read somewhere that Easton no longer make the 9 inch gold . I am going to paint
mine with some modelling red enamel paint . I find this fairly durable. I think the
Big Sky ones were 8 and not 9 inches ?
Thanks to Robin for the info about the new UK cottage company .

I will let you know Robin , busy week ahead so may be a little while yet Will be using the
9 inch pegs for the four corners and 8 inch elsewhere ,and 3mm guys . Customs and all
charges came to £84 ,so less than I was expecting .:)

The insulated pouch - meant for electrical items to protect batteries against cold - would it work as a cozy for a rehydrated meal pouch? Reflectix is fine but it does wear away, but would the heat be a problem for the synthetic fabrics? Its probably a beginner's error to try this sort of thing, but people do use hats / clothing as pot cozys.

The Reflectix bits I have are going strong after years.
For most meals though I pop pouch into a stuffsack, prop in a trail shoe and cover with a beanie or such.

Works well. I tend to rehydrate for at least 50% longer than instructions and stuff is still too hot too eat (sensitive throat mind you,).

Stuff sack is a good belt and brace. The seals aren't always reliable and a fleece hat covered in Bolognese is not ideal...

I received mine recently as well and was surprised by this kind of stakes, is it good?
