Hi Chis, welcome to the forum.
The Beard to be feared
Ey up lad
Has anyone ever considered the gramme saving potential, of getting a good (or bad) haircut, or a beard trim before an expedition?
Not to denigrate your luxuriant sproutings in any way, ...Mr Chisel
And I can't talk anyway, my barnet usually looks like I've been dragged through a hedgebackwards several times..
@el manana you must have a spreadsheet somewhere that could tell us the weightsaving garnered as a result of a good toenail trimming??
Hurrah, you finally got here mate
young Ed and myself did put our heads together on thus very conundrum but we just looked like a pair of tits
Hi and welcome
Hey, welcome to the forum
@Fair Weather Camper I usually time my haircuts and stubble trims to coincide with trips. Not for weight savings but to prevent the annoyance of having squiffy hair and cr*p in my beard. Makes washing/drying easier and quicker too. You should try short hair
Had a 'buzz cut' before hitch hiking to North Africa with a much shorter and blonder Australian girlfriend...
We were often mistaken, for a conventional couple..
Useful at times even though the proprieteuse of some iocal Hamman required visual confirmation of my gender..
Not sure I'd have the confidence to do it now though.
But yes totally get the whole 'wash your face and head' , all in one go thing..
And the beneficial velcro - like properties of the fuzz, for keeping hats on
Lesser Spotted Bristle-Tits?
Not a breeding pair Shirley??
Cheers for the nod gents, see a few familiar faces...non of you have got any better looking I see
Oh my Lord....GENTS.....how dare he..... Ruth????
Nought like a woman spurned
Let's get down to business here Ladies.
Ready, steady, GO Go Go
Fear not my dear... I will be building up a jolly good 'head of steam' over this one..
But just a few tonnes of compost to spread first...
Biceps don't tone themselves, as well you know
So much work to be done..... On, oh so many fronts
"Gents" …….. mmmmh much too much 'old school' .
Perhaps we should extend to him the benefit of the doubt..?
After all, don't all of us from time to time, struggle with the 'Ways of the modern wirld'?
He has, of course, the 'right of reply'……...where he has every opportunity to redeem himself and say it was just a oversight/slip of the tounge ??? .
NB. - I blame @Lady Grey …….stirring things, again
Don't forget to welcome Chiseller ladies
let them finish the washing up and ironing first.
That's fighting talk "Baldy"
Hello Mr Chisel!
A pleasure to make your acquaintance I'm sure..
I did 'like' your initial post, but given that we've not yet been formally introduced, I considered that a 'Hiya honeybunch' might come across as a tad forward..?
Consider yourself priveludged muchly Monsieur Le Bristles... My feminista ire was raised the point of turning off the tractor to reply to your throwback sexist smoting...
And what prey tell is this 'ironing' of which you speaketh?? Not more intrusions from the 'modern world' I hope..
Not certain quite who gains most points that round, all in as a result... But all jolly good fun anyhows eh??
It's all about the taking part, not the winning etc etc
Such stalwart insistence on expanding, in the name of full equality, the scope of the original poster's comment about time's cruel effect on the physical appearance of some of TL's membership to include the ladies of said forum is to be commended.
