Around 8yrs ago I was in Outside in Hathersage having a coffee and on the table was a advert stating that they were selling them half price, £40. I bought one after staff recommendations and have used nothing since. At 460g not the lightest but a great nights sleep. Has anyone else used one, if so, what do you

I had one but I found that those deep channels didn't work well with a quilt so I moved it on quickly.
I believe there was a problem with the company not standing behind guarantees or something. Not that that matters now as the company is long gone.

I got the same one, about 10years ago. Bought secondhand on Outdoors Magic.
Wanted to try an insulated airmat, but couldn't afford an Exped at the time.

I didn't really get on with the coffin shape. Couldn't stay on it.
Lent it to someone, and it came back with a leak. Fixed it. Leaked again. Threw it in a box. Next time I found it a few years later it was all mouldy so binned it.

Must have been lucky with mine, extremely comfortable & no leaks, touch wood.

I have one. It was my mat of choice until my mate gave me his old Synmat UL. At the time its lozenge shape was ideal for my one man tents. Now I have a bit more space I can go rectangle.

Its still a decent mat, and probably will get an outing again at some point with my tarp.

The older Ethers were more reliable. As I understand, it was when they brought out some lighter versions later, they had loads of quality control issues. Mines been used for 10 years no problems.

I think I paid £30 from Amazon once upon a time.

As I say, 8 yrs of use and still my mat of choice. I have a unused 3yr old Thermarest for a replacement.

I've got two (although they are both out on loan) aye both 10 or 11 years old, never had a problem with mine. Thinking about it one of mine is pacific outdoors and the other is a different brand name, (canna mind) that preceeded or followed the Pacific Outdoor name
