Has anyone got a winter quilt they want to sell? I don't do quilts, so I'm dipping my toe in the water.

Before I pull the trigger on the new one, I thought I'd cast my net on here - Looking for something light, compact with a quality fill. Something that hasn't been used too much... no smelly foot boxes :D

I suggest that trying a quilt for the first time in winter isn't a particularly smart move, far more sensible to try one in summer first.... an Apex quilt from Liteway may be a cheapish way to find out if quilts are for you.

Thank you  Ive always wanted to have a go, I just figured with an XTherm (which I find sooo nice) that now may be the time. to give it a spin.

Ill check out the Liteway link :)

If you put your feet in the footbox of a sleeping bag and use it as a quilt, you can try out a quilt before buying one. :)

That’s exactly my point... I’ve been doing that for years - far more comfy :)

Except the Antarctic years - we didn’t have zips in bags - to stop you unzipping it :D

Apex 133 quilt for 109 euros is a steal. Must be around 90 euros for the material costs?!

been using one from katabatic gear for a few years now, all year round , they have different ways to either cinch it down or just use as a blanket, worth every penny, if you like to move around at night its the way to go.

Is it that expensive for a synthetic fill materials though? I think I've seen similar rating bags for less than £109.
