Rab Xenon Insulated Jacket, anybody got 1 or suggestions for something similar?

I've been thinking about replacing my 2011 montane fireball smock & a quick search gives me either Rab's Xenon at 288gr or the Enlightened Equipment's Torrid at 224gr with a 10D outer & 7D inner fabric. The time wait for the Torrid takes it off the list sadly :(, but to be honest I think I'd like the heavier 20D of the Xenon as it would suit my packing better.
So was wondering if anyone has one of the new/newer ones with the atmos fabric & the stratus insulation to see how they are for wind resistance, warmth & longevity, or anymore suggestions for different Jackets of this weight & type would be nice.
Cheers! :)
I've great fears at the moment of me wardrobe being Rab'd this year. :D:angelic:

Cumulus Climalite Pullover? 240g in M. No hood if that's important to you. No experience of it myself but the few reviews that are out there seem positive, plus Cumulus' general good rep. I've been on the verge of ordering one for weeks. :)

Looks nice, bit the same at the fireball but with a chest pocket & 20grm2 heavier insulation.
The hood, I usually wear the fireball with a hat, neck gaiter or a hooded fleece under in at times, so a hood isn't really needed but I do find that I like the use of the hood on my winter synthetic jacket & there's been quite a few times i've wished for a hood on the fireball, & as a round the camp smoker I like the pockets on the Xenon aswell. :angelic:

I got the Xenon, plus another pulse tee & a borealis pull-on to update my older one which I like but can get very stinky. I've definitely been Rab'd.
I'll get me coat :sorry:
All set for next end of next month now hopefully. :angelic:
Cheers!

Well, they can't have messed up the Xenon totally this time, can they?

The Xenon looks good on the OGL review :thumbsup:Would have suggested the Climalite full zip not the Pullover as a more direct rival perhaps. Seems good too. Keep warm boyo.

Yeah seen that, they didn't rate it much as an active piece which was a plus for me as I want it for static use, & they reckon it had the best wind resistance of all that they tested if I remember right, plus quite a few good other comments.
Didn't even look for a full zip climalite, just googled the pullover, but now I see it, it's only about €5.50/£4.60 cheaper than the Xenon from the cumulus website (might be cheaper elsewhere?), & a wee bit heavier.

Not trying to put you off- but I think it may actually be lighter overall -the insulation is a tad warmer (heavier)in the Cumulus also it's Apex which in my experience with a fair bit of packing the Climalite Pullover, is going very well. Can't see any loss in loft yet.
Myself, I'd also love to try the Xenon.
