Section Hiker
I'm considering getting a pair of trail shoes to try out instead of boots.
However, I have never had comfortable boots for hiking as I have narrow, low volume, feet and narrow ankles. Every pair of boots I've ever owned, quite a few over the years, have given me blisters to varying degrees. Even the Albergs fitted by their master boot fitter didn't solve the problem.
So, which brands should I be looking to try on that aren't designed for hobbits
